Air Outlet Replacement - Center Floor

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front seats.
2. Remove the center console.
3. Remove the console bracket.
4. Remove the floor duct brace.
5. Remove the automatic transmission range selector bracket mounting nuts. Remove the transmission range selector and the range selector bracket as an assembly.
6. Disconnect the transmission range selector electrical connectors.
7. Disconnect the range selector cable from the transmission range selector.
8. Remove the floor duct nuts.
9. Remove the center floor duct from the HVAC module and the rear floor duct.
10. Unsnap the center floor air outlet duct from the floor studs.




11. Remove the center floor duct.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the center floor duct.




2. Install the floor duct to the rear floor duct and the HVAC module.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the floor duct nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the floor duct nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the console bracket.
5. Install the floor duct brace.
6. Install the floor duct brace nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the floor duct brace nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

7. Install the automatic transmission range selector bracket nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the automatic transmission range selector bracket nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

8. Connect the transmission range selector electrical connectors.
9. Connect the range selector cable to the automatic transmission range selector.
10. Install the center console.
11. Install the front seats.
