Air Temperature Actuator Replacement - Left

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the left instrument panel insulator.
2. Disconnect the left side temperature actuator electrical.
3. Remove the left side temperature actuator mounting screws.




4. Disengage the actuator linkage by rotating the actuator towards the steering column.
5. Remove the left side temperature actuator.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Engage the actuator linkage and rotate the actuator up and align the actuator to the mounting dowl.
2. Install the left side temperature actuator.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the left side temperature actuator mounting screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).




4. Connect the left side temperature actuator electrical connector.
5. Install the left instrument panel insulator.
