Park Brake Shoe Adjustment

- J21177-A Drum-to-Brake Shoe Clearance Gage





1. Remove the rear disc brake rotor (1).
2. Turn the rotor slowly while pulling the rotor away from the hub.
3. Set the J21177-A so that the J21177-A contacts the inside diameter of the rotor.





4. Position the J21177-A over the shoe (1) and lining at the widest point.
5. Turn the adjuster nut until the shoe and lining just contacts the J21177-A.
6. Repeat steps two through five for the rotor on the opposite side.
7. Install the rear disc brake rotor (1).
