Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the screw from the seat back recliner handle.




2. Remove the seat back recliner handle from the seat back recliner handle shaft.

Installation Procedure

Important: The keys on the recliner handle must properly align to the keyways on the recliner handle shaft.





1. Position the seat back recliner handle to the seat back recliner handle shaft.
2. Install the seat back recliner handle to the seat back recliner handle shaft pressing on until properly seated.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

3. Install the screw to the seat back recliner handle.

Tighten the seat back recliner screw to 2 Nm (18 lb in).
