Liftgate Latch Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the lower liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the bolts from the liftgate strikers.




4. Remove the liftgate strikers from the liftgate.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the liftgate strikers to the liftgate.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.




2. Install the bolts to the liftgate strikers.

Tighten the liftgate striker bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in)

3. Install the lower liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Close the liftgate.
