Front Side Door Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the center pillar lower trim in order to gain access to the anchor plate. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement).
2. Mark the position of the front door lock striker with a grease pencil.
3. Remove the screws from the front door lock striker.
4. Remove the front door lock striker and the shims.
5. Remove the anchor plate.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the anchor plate.
2. Install the front door lock shims and striker.
3. Install the lock striker screws.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Align the lock striker to the alignment marks.

Tighten the lock striker screws to 24 Nm (18 lb ft).

5. Adjust the lock striker if required. Refer to Door Lock Striker Adjustment (Adjustments).
6. Install the center pillar lower trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement).
