Delamination of Isolator Strip (Rubber Piece Under Wipers) From Air Inlet Grill Panel at Bottom of Windshield (Replace Air Inlet Grill Panel)

TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN

Condition

Some customers may comment on the following:

• Rubber piece is coming off under the wipers
• Buzzing or itch type noise heard from the windshield area of the vehicle

Correction

Replace the original air inlet grill panel with the newly revised P/N 10413334.

Replace the air inlet grill panel as follows:

1. With key in the ON position, turn the windshield wipers on. When the wipers reach the high point of travel, switch the key to the OFF position.
2. Remove the air inlet grill retainers (10).
3. Loosen the windshield washer hose from the air inlet grill.
4. Remove the air inlet grill panel from the vehicle.
5. Position the new grill panel to the vehicle and insure washer hoses are on the top side of the panel.
6. Position and snap the windshield washer hose into the retainers on the grill panel.
7. Install the air inlet grill panel retainers (10).
