Headlights On Warning

Radio activates headlights on warning as requested by Body Control Module (BCM). BCM sends a class 2 serial data message to the radio indicating chime frequency (fast rate) and duration (continuous). Headlights on warning sounds when following occur:

• Ignition switch is in OFF position.
• BCM determines that driver's door is open (signal is low).
• BCM determines that headlight switch is in park or headlight position.
