Circuit Description

Battery voltage is supplied directly to Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). Powertrain Control Module (PCM) illuminates MIL ON by grounding MIL control circuit. MIL should illuminate steadily when ignition switch is in RUN position and engine is off.
