DTC B1369: Device Ignition 0 (Unlock/On/Start) Circuit Open: Description

There is an ignition 0 input (ignition voltage) to the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). Ignition 0 input can be in on or off position and is control by the ignition switch. If IPC senses that ignition 0 input is low for 3 seconds or more, DTC B1369 is set.

DTC B1369 sets when, ignition 0 input is low for 3 seconds or more.

When DTC sets, IPC stores DTC B1369 in memory. IPC will store conditions which were present when DTC set as fail records data only. Information will not be stored as freeze frame data.

A current DTC B1369 will clear when malfunction is no longer present and ignition switch is cycled. A history DTC B1369 will be cleared after 100 ignition cycles, as long as current codes are not active during previous 100 ignition cycles. IPC receives clear code command from scan tool.
