Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge

IPC displays engine coolant temperature as determined by Powertrain Control Module (PCM). IPC receives a class 2 serial data message from PCM indicating engine coolant temperature. Engine coolant temperature gauge defaults to 160° F (75° C) or below if PCM detects a malfunction in engine coolant temperature sensor circuit.
