Tachometer Inoperative

Using scan tool, perform tachometer sweep test. If tachometer changes from low RPMs to high RPMs, go to appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If tachometer does not change from low RPMs to high RPMs, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
