Transverse Spring Assembly: Installation

To install, partially compress spring. Engage spring into hole in left knuckle, slide spring toward left as far as possible and raise right end as far as possible. Compress spring further and slide into right knuckle.
Center spring to align holes for spring retention plates. Install spring retention plates, but DO NOT fully tighten bolts. Connect right trailing arm to knuckle. Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect ABS electrical connector (if equipped). Remove rear spring compressor. Tighten spring retention plate bolts to specification. Install jack pad. Connect exhaust system (if applicable).
