Strut Assembly: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. If reusing old struts, align marks made at strut and knuckle during removal. In any case, tighten fasteners to specification. See the TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of article. If new struts were installed, align rear wheels. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES in the WHEEL ALIGNMENT section.
