Stabilizer Bar: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle. Scribe mating marks across strut and knuckle for realignment after installation. Disconnect stabilizer bar from brackets at crossmember support. See Figure. Pry open brackets to remove insulators.
- Remove nuts securing strut to knuckle and stabilizer bar, but DO NOT remove bolts. Remove stabilizer bar insulator brackets, and remove stabilizer bar. If necessary, carefully pry stabilizer bar to one side to clear strut.
