Intermediate Shaft & Bearings: Inspection
Intermediate shaft cannot be machined. If it is worn or damaged, replace it. If installing new intermediate shaft, add GM Lubricant (1052367) to engine oil.
CAUTION:
To prevent engine damage, ensure oil hole in bearing is aligned with oil passage in cylinder block.
