Removal (Right)
- Remove upper intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD (UPPER) . Remove lower intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD (LOWER) . Remove camshaft carrier. See CAMSHAFT CARRIER & COVERS .
- Remove exhaust crossover pipe. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect front exhaust pipe at manifold. Lower vehicle. Disconnect electrical connector from oxygen sensor. Remove rear timing belt tensioner bracket. Remove cylinder head bolts. Remove cylinder head and exhaust manifold as an assembly. Remove gasket.
