Removal (Left)

  1. Remove upper intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD (UPPER) . Remove lower intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD (LOWER) . Remove camshaft carrier. See CAMSHAFT CARRIER & COVERS .
  2. Remove left exhaust manifold. See EXHAUST MANIFOLD . Remove oil dipstick tube bolt. Disconnect electrical connector from temperature sending unit. Remove cylinder head bolts, cylinder head, and gasket.
