Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Inspection

Replace camshaft if it is worn or deformed. Inspect nose of camshaft for brinelling from flat ring. Pressure marks are acceptable. Replace camshaft if grooves are present.

CAUTION: Arrow on camshaft thrust plate must point upward.
