Removal (CB Series Pump)

Remove power steering pump (if necessary to allow clearance for pulley removal). See POWER STEERING PUMP R & I . Remove pump pulley. See POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY . Protect pump shaft with shim stock. Cut seal metal housing with small chisel to ease seal removal. Use screwdriver to pry seal out of body. Remove and discard seal. Remove shim stock from shaft.
