Diagnostic Aids
An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by a poor connection to passenger inflator module at terminal "A" or "B", a poor connection to passenger inflator module jumper terminal "A" or "B", or a poor connection to DERM at terminal A7. Test for this DTC is only run while AIR BAG warning light is performing bulb check. When a scan tool CLEAR CODES command is issued and malfunction is still present, DTC will not reappear until next ignition cycle.
WARNING:
To avoid air bag deployment and injury when trouble shooting system, only use test equipment specified in diagnostic charts. Under no circumstances should battery powered test equipment or test light be used. Carefully follow all instructions.
