Low Coolant Indicator Stays On
- Disconnect engine coolant level sensor. Turn ignition on. If indicator does not light, replace engine coolant level sensor. If indicator lights and vehicle is equipped with power door locks, disconnect retained accessory power module connector located under center console. If indicator lights and vehicle is not equipped with electronic door locks, disconnect coolant level latching module connector located under center console.
- If indicator does not come on, replace retained accessory power module or coolant level latching module as necessary. If indicator does come on, disconnect engine coolant level sensor connector. If indicator does not light, repair short to ground in Yellow/Black wire between engine coolant level sensor and connector.
- If indicator does light, disconnect connector between retained accessory power or coolant level latching module and Yellow/Black wire at Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) terminal A6. If indicator does not light, repair short to ground in Yellow/Black wire between connector and retained accessory power or coolant level latching module. If indicator does light, repair short to ground in Yellow/Black wire. If no short is present, replace IPC.
