Removal (Bonneville, DeVille/Sixty-Special, Eighty-Eight, LeSabre, Ninety-Eight, Park Avenue)

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and support control arm. Disconnect ELC air tube (if equipped) from strut.
  2. Remove trunk side cover and remove upper strut mounting nuts. Remove lower strut bolts from knuckle and stabilizer bracket. Support knuckle to prevent damage to ball joint. Remove strut. See Figure .
