Installation (Eldorado, Riviera and Seville)

  1. Install but DO NOT tighten control arm and inner retaining bolts. Install knuckle, strut, hub and rotor assembly. Install but DO NOT tighten knuckle pivot bolt.
  2. Install ABS wheel speed sensor. Install lower strut insulator and strut. Position jackstand under outer end of control arm. Lower vehicle to compress spring on jackstand.
  3. Install upper strut insulator, retainer and nut. Tighten upper strut nut, knuckle pivot bolt and inner control arm bolts to specification. See appropriate TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at the end of this article. Remove jackstand. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Check and adjust rear wheel alignment.
