Driver-Side Inflator Module: Installation

  1. Install horn contact, steering wheel inflator module connector and CPA clip. Install inflator module to steering wheel.
  2. On Corvette, tighten screws to 87 INCH lbs. (9.7 N.m); on all other models, tighten screws to 27 INCH lbs. (3.1 N.m). To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Ensure system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK.
