Codes 61/62 (Chart 2) - Sir Indicator/Redundant Sir Indicator Circuit Failure: Description

Codes 61 and 62 set when failure conditions are met during DERM CONTINUOUS MONITORING tests. These tests are performed for one second after initial TURN-ON tests are completed and every 100 milliseconds while IGNITION 1 voltage is present at DERM. Codes 61 and 62 indicate either a short to ground, short to voltage or an open in SIR INDICATOR circuit. Code 62 sets alone when either REDUNDANT INDICATOR IGNITION 1 or REDUNDANT INDICATOR GROUND circuit is open.
