DERM turns on INFLATABLE RESTRAINT indicator light.

WARNING:
To avoid air bag deployment while troubleshooting the SIR system, only use test equipment specified in diagnostic charts. Under no circumstances should battery powered test equipment or test light be used. Carefully follow all instructions.
- Checks for an open in ground circuit No. 1003 to passenger compartment discriminating sensor.
- Checks for an open in DRIVER SENSE LOW circuit between 2 discriminating sensors.
- Checks for correct terminal contact at passenger compartment discriminating sensor connector.
