DERM turns on INFLATABLE RESTRAINT indicator light.

Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart. For circuit number identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS.
WARNING:
To avoid air bag deployment while troubleshooting the SIR system, only use test equipment specified in diagnostic charts. Under no circumstances should battery powered test equipment or test light be used. Carefully follow all instructions.
- Checks whether or not fault is in DRIVER 36VLR circuit between DERM and dual pole arming sensor.
- Checks for an open in DRIVER 36VLR circuit.
- Checks for proper connector terminal contact at DERM's DRIVER 36VLR output.
- Checks for proper connector terminal contact at dual pole arming sensor's DRIVER 36VLR input.
- Checks for a short to battery on DRIVER SOURCE SENSE circuit.
