Chart A3 - History Code Diagnosis

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart. For circuit number identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS.
WARNING: To avoid air bag deployment while trouble shooting SIR system, only use test equipment specified in diagnostic charts. Under no circumstances should battery powered test equipment or test light be used. Carefully follow all instructions.
  1. Checks for intermittent wiring shorts between 36-Volt Loop Reserve (36VLR), circuit No. 236 and circuits No. 347, 348 and 349 of SIR wiring harness.
  2. Checks for intermittent open in 36VLR wiring (circuit No. 236).
  3. Checks for intermittent open between fuse No. 7 (circuit No. 1139).
