Water Pump: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain cooling system. Remove water pump drive belt. Disconnect necessary coolant hoses. Remove water pump pulley bolts (long bolt removed through access hole provided in the body side rail), then remove the pulley.
  2. Remove torque axis engine mount. See TORQUE AXIS ENGINE MOUNT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove water pump bolts, water pump and gasket.
