Installation (Both)

To complete installation, observe the following assembly tips and reverse the removal procedure:

• Clean the rocker arm cover bolts of all thread locking adhesive.
• Apply thread lock compound GM P/N 12345493 or equivalent to bolt threads.
• Tighten to 10 N.m (88 lb.in.).
• Check for fluid leaks.
