Oil Pump: Installation
- Lubricate gears with petroleum jelly. Assemble gears in housing. Pack gear cavity with petroleum jelly.
- Install oil pump cover and screws. Tighten oil pump cover screws to 11 N.m (97 lb.in).
- Install pressure regulator spring and valve. Install oil filter adapter with a new gasket.
- Tighten oil filter adapter bolts 33 N.m (24 lb.ft.). Install front cover on engine.
