Front Cover: Removal

  1. Remove torque axis engine mount. See TORQUE AXIS ENGINE MOUNT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove drive belt. Remove crankshaft balancer. See CRANKSHAFT BALANCER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove sensor shield.
  2. Remove crankshaft sensor. Remove oil pan to front cover bolts. Remove front cover attaching bolts and cover. See Fig 1 .
