Removal & Installation (Right/Rear)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove spark plug wires from spark plugs. Remove throttle cable bracket, crossover pipe heat shield, transaxle oil level indicator and indicator tube, and oxygen sensor lead.
- Remove two bolts attaching right exhaust manifold to left exhaust manifold. Remove plastic vacuum tank mounted on cowl. Raise vehicle and suitable support.
- Remove catalytic converter heat shield and pipe hanger, front exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold attaching nuts, and front exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold.
- Lower vehicle. Disconnect engine lift bracket. Remove exhaust manifold nuts and manifold. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use NEW gasket.
