Accessory Drive Belt Description & Testing: Installation

  1. Install tensioner. Install tensioner bolt and studs. Torque bolt to 33 ft. lbs. (45 N.m), studs to 38 ft. lbs. (52 N.m).
  2. Install Generator bolt. Torque both bolts to 20 ft. lbs. (27 N.m). Install power steering pump to mounting bracket.
  3. Install tensioner pulley bolt and pulley. Torque bolt to 33 ft. lbs. (45 N.m). Install inner fender electrical cover. Accessory drive belt. Negative battery cable.
