Wheel Hub & Bearing Assembly: Notes
NOTE:
Do not hammer on brake drum, as damage to the bearing could result.
- Raise vehicle and suitably support.
- Remove tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove wheel speed sensor connector from hub (if equipped).
- Remove brake drum.
- Remove hub and bearing assembly from axle.
CAUTION:
The bolts which attach the hub and bearing assembly also support the brake assembly. When removing these bolts, support the brake assembly with a wire or other means. Do not let the brakelines support the brake assembly.
