Springs & Insulators: Installation

  1. Position springs and insulators in seats, and raise rear axle. Leg of upper coil on springs must be parallel to axle assembly and face outboard within the limits shown in illustration. See Figure .
  2. Install shocks to rear axle, and tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Install track bar to rear axle, and tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Install brakeline brackets to frame, and tighten screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Remove transmission jack. Lower vehicle.
