Gauge Reads High

1)Turn ignition switch to RUN position with engine off. Check voltage between ground and Tan wire terminal of oil pressure sending unit connector. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check for open in Tan wire. If wire is okay, replace instrument cluster.

2) Check for poor connection at sending unit. If connection is okay, replace sending unit.
