All Gauges Inoperative

  1. Remove instrument cluster. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between ground and instrument cluster connector terminal D10. See Fig 2 . If test light does not come on, repair open in Pink/White wire to connector terminal D10.
  2. If test light comes on, connect test light between ground and connector terminal C5. If test light does not come on, repair open in Pink/Black wire to connector terminal C5. If test light comes on, connect test light between ground and connector terminal D5.
  3. If test light does not come on, repair open in Pink/Black wire to connector terminal D5. If test light comes on, connect test light between connector terminals C7 and D10. If test light does not come on, repair open in Black wire to connector terminal C7.
  4. If test light comes on, connect test light between connector terminals C8 and D10. If test light does not come on, repair open in Black wire to connector terminal C8. If test light comes on, connect test light between connector terminals D8 and D10.
  5. If test light does not come on, repair open in Black wire to connector terminal D8. If test light comes on, check for poor connection at instrument cluster connector. If connection is okay, replace instrument cluster.
