BRAKE Light Does Not Come On With Ignition On
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Apply parking brake. If BRAKE light does not come on, go back to BRAKE LIGHT INOPERATIVE. If BRAKE light comes on, connect test light between battery positive terminal and Tan/White wire terminal of Black ignition switch connector with ignition switch in BULB TEST position (just past RUN position).
- If test light comes on, repair open in Tan/White wire between instrument cluster and ignition switch. If test light does not come on, check for poor connection at Tan/White wire terminal of Black ignition switch connector. If connection is okay, replace ignition switch.
