ABS Light Always On

  1. Disconnect ABS light driver module connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If ABS light is on, repair short to ground in Purple wire between instrument cluster and ABS light driver module. If ABS light is off, check voltage at Pink/Black wire terminal of ABS light driver module connector.
  2. If no voltage is present, repair open in Pink/Black wire between fuse and ABS light driver module. If battery voltage is present, turn off ignition. Connect ABS light driver module connector. Disconnect EBCM 24-cavity connector. Connect fused jumper wire between ground and Dark Blue wire terminal of EBCM 24-cavity connector.
  3. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If ABS light does not come on, go to next step. If ABS light comes on, check for open in Dark Blue wire between EBCM and ABS light driver module. If wire is okay, replace ABS light driver module.
  4. If fuse in jumper wire blew, repair short to battery voltage in Dark Blue wire. If fuse in jumper wire did not blow, check for poor connection at Dark Blue wire terminal of EBCM connector. If connection is okay, replace EBCM.
