Gauge Is Inaccurate

Note fuel level indicated by gauge. Turn ignition off. Disconnect instrument cluster connector. Measure resistance between ground and Purple wire terminal of fuel gauge sending unit connector. If resistance is as specified in FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE  table, replace instrument cluster. If resistance is not as specified, replace fuel gauge sending unit.
