Gauge Reads Low

Disconnect coolant temperature sending unit. Connect fused jumper wire between ground and sending unit connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If gauge reads high, replace sending unit. If gauge still reads low, check for open in Dark Green wire between sending unit and instrument cluster. If wire is okay, replace instrument cluster.
