Gauge Reads High

Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Disconnect coolant temperature sending unit connector. If gauge reads low, replace sending unit. If gauge still reads high, check for short to ground in Dark Green wire between sending unit and instrument cluster. If wire is okay, replace instrument cluster.
