Shifts 3-1 at High Speeds For Passing Gear

1. Governor or speed sensor:

a. Cover worn.

b. Thrust washer missing.

c. Governor seal worn or cut.

d. Governor spring not seated.

e. Governor weights binding on pin.

f. Ball missing.

g. Governor driven gear stripped.

2. Intermediate servo sticking.

3. Restriction in direct clutch orifice controlled by No. 2 check ball.

4. 1-2 accumulator piston missing or seal leaking.
