Oil Pressure Gauge Always Reads Low

Remove connector from oil pressure sending unit. Turn ignition on. If oil pressure gauge reads high, replace oil pressure sending unit. If not, check sender wire to instrument cluster for short to ground. Check printed circuit board for defects. If wiring and printed circuit board are okay, replace oil pressure gauge.
