Oil Pressure Indicator
- If indicator light remains on, check oil level. If oil level is okay, check oil pressure with a gauge. If oil pressure is okay, remove oil pressure switch connector. If indicator light goes out, replace switch. If indicator light does not go out, inspect wiring and connectors for short to ground.
- If light fails to come on, check bulb and fuse. If bulb and fuse are okay, remove oil pressure switch connector and jumper to ground. If indicator lights, replace switch. If indicator does not light, check circuit between oil pressure switch and instrument panel for an open circuit.
