Oil Pressure Indicator

A pressure operated sending unit on V8 engines is located on top rear of block. On other engines sending unit is located on oil filter bracket or side of block. Indicator light should come on when ignition is on and engine is not running. Indicator light will also light when sending unit completes ground circuit (oil pressure drops below 5 psi). After engine has been started and oil pressure has reached predetermined value, light will go off.
