Master Cylinder: Disassembly

  1. Remove dust seal and push pistons into bore. Put a .12" (3 mm) rod into compensating port to detain pistons in bore (if necessary). Remove rod to allow for piston removal.
  2. If pistons remain in bore, tap housing to loosen assembly. If assembly remains in bore, carefully apply low pressure compressed air to force piston(s) out of bore.
