Gauge Reads Empty When Tank Is Full
- Connect a fused jumper wire between Red/White gauge wire and ground. Turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. If fuel gauge reads "F", it is operating properly. If not, check Red/White wire and printed circuit board connections for an open, and ensure fuel gauge connections are clean and tight.
- Connect a fused jumper wire between Red/White gauge wire and Black sender wire. If fuel gauge reads "F", it is operating properly. If not, check Black wire for an open.
